Queen City Contras cordially invites you to our contra dance, Friday, May 22, 2026 at the Shelburne Town Hall on Rt. 7.
Our callers will be Luke Donforth and Zach Miller. Our band will be Missing Lynx (Oliver Scanlon and Alex Fortier with Bjorn Peterson). All are welcome; all dances are taught; no partner or experience necessary. $12 adults over 18, $5 kids 12-18/low-income, under 12 free. We are not set up for electronic payments, so please pay with cash or check.
Please bring a pair of clean, soft-soled shoes to dance in and a water bottle to keep you hydrated. Masks welcome but optional. Please stay home if you have symptoms.

Easy to find – just take Route 7, also called Shelburne Road, South from Burlington to Shelburne Village. The town hall is on the right, just past the traffic light. Near library and fire station. Lots of parking. Use FRONT entrance.

305 Flynn Ave, Burlington VT
From the north: take Route 7 (Shelburne St) south to Flynn Ave (at the Subaru dealer). Turn right on Flynn Ave, go 3 blocks to Pine St, continue thru the intersection and turn left into the parking lot.
From the south: take Route 7 north to Flynn Ave. Turn left, go 3 blocks to Pine St, continue thru the intersection and turn left into the parking lot.
From the east: take Route 2 to Route 7, turn left, and follow “from the north” above.
From further east: take Route 89 to Route 189. When 189 ends, go north on Route 7 and follow “from the south” above.
Public Transport: GMT Route 6 stops on Rt 7 at Flynn Ave (southbound) and one block further south going northbound. See the GMT website for times.
